The waltz is a refined ballroom dance that requires grace, elegance, and proper technique. Thought to have its origins in Mediaeval Germany, it has since been performed all across the world in numerous variations and speeds.
We will begin with the international standard waltz. This style is danced to slow waltz music, somewhere between eighty-four and ninety beats per minute. It is best suited for beginners.
