Built near Japan’s Mount Fuji, Gulliver’s Kingdom only lasted around 10 years before its inevitable failure as a tourist attraction. The site is now considered one of the creepiest places on Earth.
The failure was due to two major factors. The bank funding the project went bust after a $350 million investment, and the site was located beside Japan’s infamous Suicide Forest.
Gulliver’s Kingdom is now only an attraction to the odd urban explorer and little remains of the Kingdom itself.
