Haze

There are many different pollutants that make up what is considered as haze, with smoke being a major source. 

Since 1991, haze from smoke has been a particularly acute problem for Southeast Asia. Countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia have been heavily affected by haze reaching extremely dangerous levels, sometimes over three hundred on the Pollutant Standards Index.
