Ten years ago, a startup was born.

Its mission: to create bold new ways to use bioethanol by turning the low-quality ethanol by-product of sugar refinery into insulation panels and plastics.

Sugarcane captures CO2 from the atmosphere, meaning that one ton of Mekas Green plastic saves three tons of equivalent CO2.
