Renovating Town Hall

Script Content

Once a proud central structure overlooking the Phillipshead Town Square, recent decades have not been kind to the Town Hall. The building was constructed in 1893, 6 years after Phillipshead was founded, and served as a centre for local government to convene up until 2019. The dilapidating hall was swapped out in favour of more modern accommodation.

Fortunately, the denizens of this town worked together to fund a complete renovation of the town hall to help bring it to the modern era. The $670,000 renovations will fund the reinforcement of the walls and roof, as well as a complete rework of the interior.

Once the project is complete in 2026, the Phillipshead Town Hall will become a community centre, a shining beacon of how this community came together to repair it.
