Homesick

Seeing the galaxy, frozen in a surreal swirl of planets, stars, and celestial dust, Brinksley couldn’t help but feel homesick. It wasn’t his actual home that he missed but rather his entire planet. He knew that he had nothing left for him there, no one to return to. But knowing that he could never go back made him miss it even more.
